Safety and Security

Utah Rotary has established policies and procedures to protect the safety and well-being of all volunteers. Although we cannot avoid every emergency, we have taken several steps to prevent and prepare for an emergency. Please read the Utah Rotary Mexico Code of Conduct. It is essential that our volunteers strictly adhere to these policies in order to ensure their individual safety and the safety of the team.

Several trips are made throughout the year to ensure border crossing, lodging, transportation and logistical needs are meet.

With life and travel outside the United States, there are risks and no 100% guarantees that everything will go as planned or that there will be no incidents.  We are very cautious in our preparations and planning to ensure the safety of our participants.  Even so, we cannot make a 100% guarantee that everything will go as planned even if we were participating in an activity across the street from your own home.
